Thomas' P.P. - Can he raise carnivorous plants!?
Carnivorous plants don't typically grow in our climate, so Thomas needed to put them in a terrarium. Over the weeks of his project, a lot of interesting things happened, one of his Venus fly traps split into two plants!

Buddies
We've gotten to spend some time with buddies from the younger classes, first we were with the 4-6 group and we taught them to use Prezi, and then we were with the grades 1-3 group and we read with them. Some of the kids are amazing readers, they read like they're in grade four! Altogether we had a great time, see the photos below.

Lili, Journey, and Charlie's Digital Citizenship Project
Lili, Charli, and I did our Digital Citizenship project on Instagram. We covered the basics of Instagram in our Prezi. A fun fact about Instagram that we learned was that it was created originally by only thirteen people!

The Innovations 9: Hot dog sale
On Saturday, the Innovations 9 group sold hot dogs, pop and chips at Art Knapps Plantland, in Surrey. Despite the rain and wind, many people came up to support the group. One gentlemen showed up at the table 5 times!

Earth Worm Dissection Oct 22nd
Mr. Young, the vice principal, was subbing for the day and so he brought in earthworms to dissect in the afternoon. The worms to most smelt like a batch of chemicals but in all it was enjoyable.

Rubric for "The Big Question"
Hi all,
I receive many questions about the "Big Question". I confess, this is a new concept to me. I heard about this a few years ago when piloting our Innovations class. I received a book called,
