On June 9, 2015 Thomas presented his expert period project. He told us a lot of cool things about Synthetic Biology. It's kind of funny that scientist used Synthetic Biology to make a spider goat, a goat that can produce silk (Just like a spider!)

Egg-Naut:

On May 28, 2015 Some of us made egg-nauts. What we did was, we would make some sort of protection then drop the egg that was protected off the gym roof. Alot of the eggs broke. In the end we only had 2 teams that had won, team: Jacob,Brady and Grayson and team: Lucas.

Jacob's Expert Period.

On May 21, Jacob presented his Expert Period Project. He did it on how much it would cost for his family to take a road trip to West Edmonton Mall for a little over a week and a half. It was very interesting to see how much vacations really cost our parents.

Seth's Science Presentation

On May 21, Seth presented his Science Experiment. It was fascinating. He put Rubbing Alcohol on his hands and lit a cotton ball on fire and tossed it back and forth with his hands. The only time that it even slightly burned him was when his hand accidently caught on fire after trying to put out the flaming cotton ball. It wasn't a big deal. Blink and you miss it.

Lucas and Brady's SSP

On May 21, Lucas and Brady presented their SSP Project. They also chose to do a Solar Oven. We did the Dragons Den thing again so there was a lot of talk about royalties and things. We say if we were in or not and some people said why they weren't in.

Lili and Sultana's SSP

On May 14, Lili and Sultana presented their Semi Personal Project. They chose to do the Solar Oven. We did a Dragons Den kind of thing when they presented, saying if we would or would not give them their chosen amount of money (if we had it). They tried to make a cookie in their oven, but it was only partially cooked.
